What’s On

If Auckland stays at Alert Level 3 on Sunday 16th August, both services will be Live Streamed via this website.    Click on the ‘Live Service’ tab on the Home page and follow the Link

Dear Church Family
I am saddened at the Covid-19 news that we have 4 cases of confirmed community transmission in Auckland and that we are now back on Level 3 for at least 3 days. Furthermore, we will have to wait and see if we will find ourselves at level 3 for an extended period.
As I reflect on this unfortunate situation I am also conscious that there is much for which we must be thankful.

We  have been COVID free for 102 days because of the policy of ‘going hard and going early’ in March and we have had the lowest mortality rate from COVID in the world.

Now let us support the efforts the Government is making as best we can.

Wear a mask when you are in public places.

Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds with soap and water.

Stay in your bubble and work from home if you are not an essential services worker.

Behave as though you have the virus and the people around you have the virus.

Be kind to each other

and most importantly pray for the sick, for those in economic distress, for our country, the government and all the medical staff dealing with this pandemic which is still raging all around the world.

May God grant that together ‘Team 5 million’ will prevail once again against this horrible virus.

Going forward, we will wait for further announcements to decide what we will continue to do in our church life, but at very least we will continue to live- stream the services on Sunday.
I will send out another email in a couple of days once the situation has become clearer.
In the meantime:
The church and the hall is closed to everyone.
All the staff will work from home until further notice.
The Community Shop is closed until further notice.
The food bank will continue to operate. Phone 021857997 if you need a food parcel or email me on vicar@holytrinity.gen.nz  .
Feel free to ring me if you are anxious or worried about anything. 021857997

For now, stay safe, stay calm  and pray for one another.
Kia kaha.
This comes with my prayers for you all.
