We rely on donations to help provide food parcels for people who can’t afford to put wholesome, nourishing food on their table. There’s information on this page about the type of food donations we can accept or if you would like to make a financial contribution towards the food bank, please see below for detailed information.
What to donate?
We cannot take one-off donations of cooked or perishable foods but we’d love to hear from you if you could help by donating:
- fresh fruit and vegetables
- non-perishable food items such as:
- canned fish, chicken, corned beef or silverside.
- canned vegetables (green beans, corn, tomatoes)
- instant mashed potato
- canned fruit (pineapple, mandarins, peaches, pears, mixed salad)
- spreads (marmite, peanut butter, honey, jams and marmalades)
- baked beans and spaghetti
- canned soups / packet soups
- rice and pasta and especially pasta sauces to go with them.
- muesli bars, snack bars, or lunch box items
- breakfast cereal and porridge or rolled oats
- UHT cartons of milk or powdered milk
- Breakfast Cereals
- Coffee, tea, milo, hot chocolate
- baby food, nappies, baby wipes
- canned fish, chicken, corned beef or silverside.
- toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, tampons and pads, soap and moisturiser and deodorant.
- toilet rolls
- household cleaners, washing powder, dishwashing liquid, bleach, toilet cleaners.
We also gratefully accept donations of fresh meat and chicken that can be frozen, but please call ahead first to make sure someone will be available to accept your donation and put it straight in the freezer.

PASTORAL CARE MEALS
The Church also provides pastoral care meals for those who are in need. If you would like to cook a meal which can be frozen, please contact the office on the numbers above for some more information.
